Welcome to Virks Liquor! We're a a premier liquor store located in the heart of Michigan City, Indiana and we're committed to offering our customers the highest level of service and expertise when it comes to finding the right bottle to enjoy with friends and family. Our focus is on bourbon, tequila, and fine wine, but we also carry beer, mixers, and a selection of specialty liquors that are sure to impress even the most discerning connoisseur. We're looking forward to partnering with La Porte, Porter, and Lake counties to continue to provide the community with the best product selection, service, and prices. Our Story

Virk’s Discount Liquor is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving alcohol to our community for two generations now. Our owner, Nick Virk, is dedicated to providing our patrons with quality liquor at affordable and discounted prices.

It is important to us that we provide our customers with alcohol, groceries, and other products that will suit their needs. We pride ourselves on stocking beverages that are hard to get and selling them for fair prices. We believe in community here, and that everyone should have access to fine wine and premium cigars.

We offer liquor, beer, craft beer, and wine at a discounted rate. Our fine wine is part of our high-end collection, which includes bourbon, whiskey, scotch, tequila, and champagne. We also sell margaritas and mixers, in addition to groceries, gift sets, cigars, and cigarettes. We have an ATM available inside and sell both lottery tickets and tobacco.

We specialize in rare whiskey, bourbon, tequila, and fine wines. We have an assortment of tequila brands available, including Clase Azul, Casamigos, Don Julio, and Patron. The bourbons in our inventory include Blanton’s, Maker’s Mark, Pappy Van Winkle, and W.L. Weller.
